Flying Snake Staff
Using the Flying Snake to attack an enemy
The Flying Snake Staff is a post-Plantera Hardmode weapon that summons a Flying Snake to fight for the player. The summoned flying snake will circle the player's head until an enemy comes into range, then fly out and ram the enemy repeatedly until it's dead. Summoning additional copies of this minion will add additional segments, increasing its damage and attack speed. Like other minions, the summoned flying snake is invincible and follows the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, summons a replacement minion, or cancels the buff.
Its best modifier is Mythical for the widest array of set bonuses, or Ruthless for the highest damage output.
