Star Surfer Staff
Using the Star Surfer to attack an enemy
The Star Surfer Staff is a pre-Mechanical Boss Hardmode weapon that summons a surfer riding a Fallen Star to fight for you. The summoned surfers will circle the player's head until an enemy comes into range, then fly out and dive into the enemy from above while shooting miniature fallen stars at it. Like other minions, the summoned star surfer is invincible and follows the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, summons a replacement minion, or cancels the buff.
Its best modifier is Mythical for the widest array of set bonuses, or Ruthless for the highest damage output.
