1.0.3 is a minor update of Ancients Awakened. It features a new resprite for Subzero Serpent along with 2 alternate forms, new title intros for Ancients and Superancients and small changes and bug fixes.

Bosses[ | ]
- Subzero Serpent has been resprited, and if the Snow Biome is infected with Corruption or Crimson, she gets one of 2 alternate forms when summoned. The differences of alternate forms from the original are that they use new attacks oriented around the evil they were infected with, replacing the frost fire breath. (Corruption: Cursed flame breath Crimson: Ichor spits)
- All Ancients, Superancients and major bosses required for them (Rajah Rabbit, Sisters of Discord and The Equinox Worms) now have boss title intros inspired from Legend of Zelda franchise. The intros feature the bosses' names and their aliases at the top. (This also applies to the awakened phases as well)

- Mushroom Monarch now drops all weapons made from Mushium Bars.

- Base Mod is now integrated to AA's code. Base Mod is no longer needed to run AA anymore.
- AI of Elder Dragons have been reworked.
- Dungeon chests of AA are now unlockable post-Plantera regardless.
Bug Fixes[ | ]
- Fixed an issue that caused AA to crash when used with Terraria Overhaul.

- Along with this update, Super Ancients Awakened, an addon mod for AA that makes Ancients Awakened bosses extremely difficult made its debut on the Mod Browser
