- The item is a reference to a Magic: The Gathering card of the same name. It can be sacrificed for three mana of any color, which can be very powerful when combined with copies of itself, Channel, and Fireball. This power is balanced out by its infamous rarity as a part of the Power Nine, which eventually caused the incident referenced in the tooltip.
- This can be an easy way to obtain money in the game as it sells for 30 gold. Keep in mind that this uncommonly grows in the Mire, however.
