The Devil's Knife is a unique pre-hardmode sword obtainable from the Witch Doctor for 4 after defeating Skeletron. The main use of this knife is to insta-kill any friendly NPC, no matter what health or defense they have. Upon killing a friendly NPC, the player responsible for the killing will have the cursed debuff for 5 seconds.
