The Clicker class is a very old class added in the Clicker Class mod. Much like clicker games, the Clicker's weapons and equipment focus on letting the player deal click damage onto enemies by directly clicking them. Additionally, clicking enough times grants a special clicker effect based on the weapon used. Notably, all Clickers by default have a use time of 1 and no auto-use, meaning the player's damage output directly correlates to how quickly they can repeatedly press the attack button.
The class is generally developed for a vanilla playthrough, featuring
65 weapons,
5 armor sets, and
32 accessories. Additionally, there are 6 weapon modifiers and 1 accessory modifier that affects clicker attributes.
The Clicker's weapons hit with a specific damage type called click damage. Accessories and armor can be used to augment click damage output, and generic 'damage' buffs, such as the one from the Avenger Emblem, still increase the Clicker's damage.
Clicker Radius[ | ]
With the exception of the Spectre Clicker, all clickers have a radius which they can be successfully used in, indicated by a colored ring around the player. The following two conditions must be satisfied when clicking for the attack to properly initiate:
The cursor is within the radius ring.
There are no tiles between the cursor and the player to obstruct the line of sight.
If the above conditions are satisfied, then the ring will be opaque, indicating that the player's clicks will be successful; otherwise, it will be translucent.
By default, the radius is around 6 blocks, but can be increased with certain equipment such as the Mouse Pad. Additionally, each clicker has an associated radius multiplier, increasing or decreasing their default range. The Spectre Clicker, instead of a clicker radius, is instead freely able to click at any point visible on the screen, including through tiles.
Aside from clicker attacks, the clicker radius is also used for the effects of certain armor and accessories. For example, the Cookie accessory causes cookies to spawn within the clicker's radius that can be clicked for a temporary stat boost, and Mice armor's set bonus allows the player to teleport to their cursor position by right-clicking if the same clicker conditions above are satisfied.
Clicker Effects[ | ]
With the exception of the Wooden Clicker, all clickers and certain armor and accessories have a special effect that triggers upon using the clicker enough times, regardless of whether the click deals damage or not. The amount of clicks needed to trigger the clicker effect can be decreased with certain equipment such as the Soda.
If the "Display 'hold auto select' text" configuration setting is set to True, information on each clicker's clicker effect can be viewed by holding the ⇧ Shift key while the cursor is over the clicker.

Armor Penetration[ | ]
Like the Lightning Aura sentry summons, all clickers' attacks and clicker effects, when damaging an enemy, have their damage increased using the formula:
As enemy attack reduction is a consistent amount set to 50% of their defense value, regardless of difficulty mode [2], this effectively allows clickers to ignore all enemy defense to deal constant damage, regardless of target. This occurs before defense-dropping methods such as Ichor or the Shark Tooth Necklace are taken into account, allowing clickers to still benefit from the damage penetration.
As with Lightning Aura sentry summons, clickers' armor penetration will not apply to Dungeon Guardians or any other enemy that happens to have over 999 defense, and will have their damage reduced as normal.
Clicker Use Time[ | ]
All clickers by default have a use time of 1, but do not have auto-use, meaning that the damage potential of clickers are directly correlated to the speed which the player is able to repeatedly press the attack button. Certain equipment or effects can grant auto-use to clickers, but also increases all clickers' use times, potentially reducing potential damage output as opposed to manually clicking.
External sources of auto-use from mods such as "Omniswing" or "Fargo's Souls Mod" will not affect clickers.
Total Clicks[ | ]
Clickers will track the total number of times the player has used that particular clicker, regardless of whether they successfully dealt damage or not. Beyond being informational, certain items will only become available if the player's held clicker has reached a certain number of total clicks; for example, the Stylist will only sell the Click Speed Hair Dye if the player's held clicker has a total of 5,000 or more clicks.
Pressing the Clicker Aim Assist key will select a target under your cursor. When clicking, your click damage is dealt to that target, regardless of your cursor's position. Your target is lost if they exit your radius or you lose direct line of sight of them.
Increases click damage by 10%. Increases your base click radius by 10%. Pressing the Clicker Aim Assist key will toggle aimbot, targeting nearby enemies automatically. If the target dies or is lost, a new nearby target will be selected if possible.
While equipped, cookies will periodically spawn within your clicker radius. Click the cookie to gain bonus clicker damage, radius, and life regeneration. Gain up to 15% clicker damage based on your amount of clicks within a second. Every 15 clicks releases a burst of damaging chocolate.
While equipped, cookies will periodically spawn within your clicker radius. Click the cookie to gain bonus clicker damage, radius, and life regeneration.
Increases click damage by 10%. Increases your base click radius by 50%. Reduces the amount of clicks required for a click effect by 20%. Your clicks produce a burst of mechanical light, while accessory is visible. Pressing the Clicker Accessory key will toggle auto click on all Clickers. While auto click is enabled, click rates are decreased.
While equipped, cookies will periodically spawn within your clicker radius. Click the cookie to gain bonus clicker damage, radius, and life regeneration. Gain up to 15% clicker damage based on your amount of clicks within a second.
While equipped, empowering circles will rotate around you. Keeping your cursor within the circles will build up clicker critical strikes, clicker radius, and clicker effects.
Changed clicker auto-use behavior to now only work with Clicker Class sources that provide it; external sources of auto-use from mods such as "Omniswing" or "Fargo's Souls Mod" will no longer affect clickers.
Removed the welcome message about auto-use incompatibilities with other mods.
1.3.1: Nerfed clicker armor penetration to no longer apply to Dungeon Guardians and enemies with over 999 defense.
1.2.6: Updated clicker radius visuals and smoothed out their fade transitions.
