The 11.0 update is a major update that was released on July 7, 2020.[1]

Items[ | ]

  • Added the Osmium Hamaxe, Osmium Longbow, and Rhodium Longbow.
  • Added the Bowshark, a new bow (Currently unobtainable).
  • Added Bloodstained Chestplate and Bloodstained Greaves
  • (Re)-added the Vampire Teeth, which now only lifesteals if using a "true melee" weapon; only activates if the blade of a sword (not a shot projectile) or a spear hits an enemy.
  • Added the Ectoplasmic Beacon, the summoning item for Phantasm.
  • Added the Hellbound Remote, the summoning item for the Wall of Steel.
  • (Re)-added the Dragon Spine, the summoning item for the Dragon Lord.
  • Added the Mechanical wasp, the summoning item for Mechasting.
  • (Re)-added Essence of Terraria, dropped by oblivion on the first kill. This item is exactly the same as it is in tConfig Avalon; it summons all bosses at once.
  • Added the Dragon Stone, dropped by the Dragon Lord, which provides immunity to some flying creatures.
  • Added Ghost in the Machine, used to craft the Hellbound Remote.
  • (Re)-added the Berserker Bar and Berserker Blade.
  • Added the Alien Device.

Blocks[ | ]

  • Added Ectoplasm Door
  • Added Impervious Door and Locked Impervious Door.
  • Added the Library Altar, which spawns in the Library of Knowledge and spawns Phantasm when an Ectoplasmic Beacon is used on it.
  • Added a placed Book variant of the Devil's Scythe, which generates inside the Library of Knowledge.
  • Added Sky Bricks (Currently unobtainable).
  • Added Tuhrtl Bricks (Currently unobtainable).
  • Added Nest Blocks (Currently unobtainable).

A couple new Modifiers have been added, these are:

Enemies[ | ]

Items[ | ]

  • Tritanorium Ore no longer sells for 2 each, now sells for 20.
  • All Souls now pulse in-world, and emit colored light, and are animated.
  • Magmafrost Bolt, Quadro Cannon, and Infernasword are now dropped by the Dragon Lord. These weapons also now require Dragon Scales to craft.
  • Quadro Cannons damage has been buffed, from 15 to 16.
  • Infernaswords damage has been buffed, from 44 to 71 (this is to place it in Superhardmode).
  • Terraspin is now post-Dragon Lord, and has also been slightly nerfed, from 98 damage to 80 damage.
  • Oblivion Ore is no longer dropped by Juggernauts and Primordial Ore.
  • Evil Altars that have been crafted and placed will now drop themselves as an item when broken with a hammer.
  • Spectrum armor now has a different appearance; it now shifts colors in certain places, the same as Rainbow Bricks.
  • Curse of Oblivion painting now has a 1 in 4 chance to drop from Oblivion instead of 100%.
  • Transformation Talisman has been renamed to Bestial Band.
  • Miner's Sword drop chance has been increased, from 1 in 30 to 1 in 18.
  • Miner's Pickaxe drop rate has also been increased, from 1 in 30 to 1 in 18.
  • Plantera's Fury has been nerfed, from 35 damage to 26.
  • Bloodstained Helmet is no longer craftable. Instead, it now drops from Fallen Heroes. Additionally, the Bloodstained Chestplate and Bloodstained Greaves can drop from Fallen Heroes.
  • Four new Tomes have been introduced.
  • Spiked Blast Shells now drop at a 1 in 6 chance, up from 1 in 9.
  • Purple Dungeon Doors have been added.

Town NPCs[ | ]

  • Added more unique Town NPC death messages.
  • Town NPCs now have more defense in Superhardmode.

Bug Fixes[ | ]

Enemies[ | ]

  • All Avalon Bosses HP bars now draw at 1.5x scale. Previously, they were drawn at normal mobs' scale.
  • Desert Beak now no longer hides in the ground, and also changes direction based on which side of the player it's on.
  • Fixed Desert Beak not despawning if the player dies.
  • Desert Beak's music is now louder.
  • The bombs from Desert Beak and Oblivion now explode on contact with the player.
  • Desert Beak now has full knockback immunity.
  • Eye of Cthulhu will now drop random evil ore if in the secret seed world.
  • Fixed a small issue with the Armageddon Slime's spread attack; this issue was also present in Oblivion's spread laser.
  • Fixed a bug with the Dark Star Heart drop that caused it to drop after the first kill.
  • Oblivion's first phase and Infernaspaz now shoot dark matter fireballs instead of cursed fireballs, and dark matter flamethrowers instead of cursed flamethrowers.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to summon another Oblivion (phase 1) after the first "dies" and switches to dead form/second phase.
  • Oblivion's heads now stay separated; in addition, they have different timing for going into spinning mode.
  • All parts of Oblivion are now immune to Freeze.
  • Comet Tails are now properly immune to knockback.
  • Critters and NPC projectiles can no longer drop Rocks, Pointing Lasers, or Alien Devices.
  • Critters and NPC projectiles can no longer drop potions.

Items[ | ]

  • The Oblivion debuff (from Berserker armor setbonus) can no longer oneshot the Dragon Lord.
  • Fixed a bug with Catalyzer recipes that turned Sapphire into Sapphire.
  • Avalon boss summoning items have been fixed to not be usable in certain situations where they shouldn't have been usable (i.e. Eye of Oblivion being usable during the day).
  • Fixed Yucky, Dungeon, and Ocean Crates not being able to be opened.
  • Devil's Scythe projectiles can no longer clip through blocks.
  • Reworked how the Duratanium Shield and Duratanium Omega Shield work in code.
  • The old Ice Blade recipe has been removed, now only has one recipe.
  • Life Dew's sell price has been reduced, from 8 gold to 2 gold.
  • The Magic Conch will no longer kill a player that does not have fall damage immunity when used.
  • Modded spears no longer extend far beyond where they should.
  • Molten helmets now specify what damage type they provide bonuses for.
  • Oblivion Glaive now functions as it was originally intended to function; that is, auto-reuse.
  • Fixed Platinum Crate's loot table having Superhardmode items drop in Hardmode, and added Avalon Hardmode Ores & Bars to its loot table.
  • Possessed Flamesaw can now be crafted using a Troxinium Chainsaw.
  • Trifectal may have been fixed in multiplayer.Verify

World[ | ]

  • Contagion rings now generate with an opening, and they generate closer to the surface and also cannot generate in midair.
  • The secret seed's world now correctly alerts the player to Sulphur being generated in the world on the first altar smash in hardmode.
  • The secret seed's dungeon now contains all 3 evil biome chests.
  • The secret seed's Corruption Chasms would generate with Snot Orbs inside them. They now correctly generate Shadow Orbs.
  • Entering Superhardmode will no longer lag the game.

Visual/Spriting Issues[ | ]

  • Dark Inferno now displays particles on the player.
  • The Orange Dungeon's tiles are now darker on the map.
  • Gastropod Staff minions now properly animate and change their direction when firing.
  • Fixed Yellow and Black Ice not merging correctly with snow.
  • Fixed the Iceman being invisible.
  • Mechanical Diggers' gore has been updated to match its new sprite.
  • Oblivion now has a large HP bar for both its first phase and for both its heads in its second phase.

Inventory, Menu, and Tooltips/Text[ | ]

  • Astigmatazer and Infernaspaz now have an "awoken" message upon spawning.
  • Fixed a bug where a couple death messages for two Town NPCs never showed up.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to equip duplicate accessories in the 6th accessory slot.
  • Fixed a bug where prefixes on accessories in the 6th accessory slot would not be applied.
  • Removed a bit of debug code for the 6th accessory slot.
  • NPCs beyond Matter Man's NPC ID now properly display their name in multiplayer.
  • Awakened Rose armor's set bonus now correctly shows your current Teleport hotkey binding.
  • Fixed Sulphur not having a rarity.
  • High Tensile Fishing Line now actually has a tooltip stating that it works in the vanity slot.
  • All items that work in the vanity slot no longer change their tooltips when placing the cursor over them in the vanity slot.

Projectiles[ | ]

  • Missile Bolts will now correctly explode on hitting a tile.
