Crimson Bullets are Pre-Hardmode bullets crafted with Musket Balls, Crimtane, and Tissue Samples. They have a chance to inflict Varicose as well as an additional chance to steal small amounts of life. They are the Crimson counterpart to Demon Bullets.

- The life steal has a 1/3 chance to trigger on most things, with some exceptions:
- Critters, all parts of Moon Lord, all parts of The Destroyer, and Target Dummies do not trigger the effect.
- The life steal is equal to 1 HP per 10 damage points dealt, or 10% return ratio.
- The amount of HP healed at one time caps at 3.
