Strategies[ | ]
This item is one of the hardest and rarest to get so here are two strategies to obtain multiple of them.
- Dig a hole near the dungeon but not too close as you don't want to be in the dungeon biome yet. The further you go down the more Dungeon Guardian will spawn. Once you are at a reasonable distance down while still being able to come back up, use a skooma potion, then dig towards the dungeon. Be sure to have a piercing weapon that has a very fast use time and that possibly deals debuffs. Once a Dungeon Guardian has spawned, run toward the exit and jump up, with the skooma potion your speed will be far greater than the speed of the Dungeon Guardian. You can also use a U.F.O instead of the skooma potion as it is just slightly faster than the Dungeon Guardian.
- If you want to get more in less time, you can use the slimy saddle invisibility glitch. If you use the glitch try being surrounded by the dungeon and be the furthest down possible. Use water candles and battle potions so more Dungeon Guardians spawn.
