Using the Goblin Gunner to attack an enemy
The Goblin Gunner Staff is an early-Hardmode weapon that summons a goblin riding a gunship to fight for you. It is dropped by the Goblin Summoner during Hardmode Goblin Army events with a 33% chance. The summoned goblin will always hover directly behind the player, shooting bullets at enemies that come within range. Summoning additional copies of this minion will upgrade its gun, moderately increasing damage and greatly increasing rate of fire, maxing out at the rate of the Minishark. Like other minions, the goblin gunner is invincible and follows the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies, summons a replacement minion, or cancels the buff.
Its best modifier is Mythical for the widest array of set bonuses, or Ruthless for the highest damage output.
