The Reverse Bow is a Hardmode bow. When fired, three Reverse Arrows will appear from the direction in which the player aimed, and fly towards the bow. Shortly after hitting an enemy, or immediately after hitting a second enemy, these arrows will revert their movement direction, potentially hitting the same enemy again. Each arrow can potentially hit up to four enemies before disappearing.
Regardless of the type of arrow that is used to fire the Reverse Bow, the resulting projectiles will always be Reverse Arrows. As such, special effects (such as inflicting debuffs) will be lost. However, the damage of the used ammunition still determines the damage of the Reverse Arrow.
