The Kappa Water Pistol is a Hardmode gun. It uses Hydro Charges as ammunition, which are dropped by Kappa enemies and are available for purchase at the Arms Dealer after Nitori Kawashiro is defeated.

The pistol's main fire mode shoots a single projectile which is strongly affected by gravity. The alternate fire shoots five projectiles in a spread pattern, while still consuming only one ammunition. However, these shots have a lower velocity, limiting the effective range. The alternate fire has a cooldown of 4 seconds.

The Kappa Water Pistol is considered a bullet-type weapon by the Shroomite armor.
