The Rod of Remorse is a Hardmode, post-Moon Lord melee weapon. When swung, it creates a spread of three projectiles that pierce an infinite number of enemies. The Rod of Remorse's attack (including the projectiles) are unaffected by the target's defense stat and will always deal full damage.
Its alternate attack shoots five lasers each to the left and right of the player, and one massive laser towards the targeted location. Despite the Rod of Remorse being a melee weapon, this attack deals magic damage and has a base mana cost of 150, as well as a cooldown duration of 30 seconds.
The Rod of Remorse becomes available for purchase at the Curio Trader after defeating two of the following enemies: Moon Lord, Utsuho Reiuji, Tenshi Hinanawi.
Trivia
- The Rod of Remorse is used by Eiki Shiki to punish sinners. Its alternate fire is named for one of Eiki's Spell cards, Judgement "Last Judgement".
