Spawn[edit | edit source]
Rotting Carrier can be spawned by using a Rancid Organ at Night. When spawned, the message "Rotting Carrier has awoken!" will signal its arrival.
Stats[edit | edit source]
- A direct hit by the Rotting Carrier will inflict Poison for 3 seconds (Only on Reverie Mode).
- A hit from the Poison Spikes will inflict Poison for 5 / 10 seconds.
Behaviour[edit | edit source]
The Rotting Carrier will attempt to float directly above the player, and will do this for most of the battle.
Every 100 / 50 ticks, the Rotting Carrier will fire a volley of poisonous spikes in the cardinal directions, and it will always do this, even when charging at the player.
Around every 8 seconds, the Rotting Carrier will prepare a homing charge, and rush at the player one second later. After the charge is complete, it will leave behind a Green / Red / Yellow Slime and resume floating above the player.
Like most nighttime bosses, the Rotting Carrier will flee at sunrise if it is not defeated.
Reverie Mode[edit | edit source]
- It will fire in all diagonal directions along with the cardinal directions
- For the homing charge, it will not wait and instead immediately begins rushing the player
