"Did you really think it would be that easy?"

Nightmare Mode was the only additional gamemode added by Jetshift Mod, which was an increased difficulty from Expert Mode. It was activated by using Flames of Deities, which was made out of nothing by hand. It could only be activated in an Expert Mode world, as attempting to activate it in a Normal Mode world would have done nothing. It could be toggled freely, but if it was used while a boss is alive, the boss would despawn with no additional penalty.

Changes[edit | edit source]

  • Vanilla enemies and bosses had a 30% life increase, a 60% damage increase and a 70% defense increase.
  • The chances of enemies being Shift'ed was 1-in-45, and the chances of a boss being shifted was 1-in-5.
  • Wall of Flesh's leeches couldn't be hurt.
  • Destroyer's probes couldn't be hurt during the Destroyer battle.
  • Skeletron Prime's vice and laser couldn't be hurt.
  • Golem's fists couldn't be destroyed.
  • Probes were summoned during the Twins fight, and Giant Cursed Skulls were summoned during the Skeletron Prime fight.
