The Dream Nail is a Hardmode melee weapon that can be obtained after defeating all three mechanical bosses. It is one of the upgraded versions of the Old Nail.

This nail keeps all of the following abilities from its past iterations:

• Shoots beams that deal half the nail's base damage, while the user is at full health.
• Can be charged up to unleash a great slash with increased reach.
• Charged attack becomes a far-reaching dash slash if the player dashes.
• Charged attack becomes a multi-hit "cyclone slash" spin attack if the player holds up or down.

Additionally, all attacks from the Dream Nail ignore half of the enemy's defense stat.
