UV armor is a craftable Hardmode Druid armor set crafted from Amethyst and Ultra-Violet Plating. It takes a total of 15 Amethyst and 37 Ultra-Violet Plating to craft a full suit.
It consists of a UV Headgear, UV Chestplate, and UV Leggings.
The UV Headgear gives 7 defense, 11% increased druidic damage, increases maximum life by 60, and increases the use speed of Staves; the UV Chestplate gives 12 defense, 11% increased druidic damage, 8% increased druidic critical strike chance, increased life regeneration, and increases the use speed of Seedbags; and the UV Leggings gives 9 defense, 11% increased druidic damage, increased life regeneration, increases the use speed of Spirit Weapons, and either increased movement speed in the day or increased jump height in the night.
A full set provides a total of 28 defense, 33% increased druidic damage, 8% increased druidic critical strike chance, increases maximum life by 60, increased life regeneration, increases the use speed of Staves, Seedbags, and Spirit Weapons, and either increased movement speed in the day or increased jump height in the night. Its set bonus causes the player to alternate between two modes depending on the time of day: Defensive Mode during the day, and Offensive Mode during the night.
Defensive Mode grants the following bonuses:
- +30 defense
- 15% increased damage resistance
Offensive Mode grants the following bonuses:
- 30% increased druidic damage
- 15% increased druidic critical strike chance
