The Blood Caller is a Pre-Hardmode shamanic weapon that has a chance to be dropped by Crimson Hearts; it also has a 1/36 chance to be obtained from Crimson Crates. On use, it fires a crimson projectile that travels wildly for a short distance before disappearing. Upon hitting an enemy, the player will gain a crimson heart, displayed above the player; up to 3 hearts can be had at maximum, and hitting an enemy after causes them all to vanish, restoring the player's health by 5.

Hitting enemies provides the Level I Attack Empowerment to the player.

Its Crimson counterpart is the Shadow Weaver.
