- Catalyst
The Prismatic Resonator is a craftable Hardmode shamanic weapon. As with all shamanic weapons, the Prismatic Resonator's attacks are fired from a catalyst, whose position and direction are based on the position of the cursor.
On use, the Prismatic Resonator fires a near-instantaneous crystal beam that can pierce through multiple enemies. The main beam splits apart into a number of shorter beams in random directions; beams have a small chance of splitting off before the main beam reaches its maximum distance, but most are guaranteed to split off at the main beam's maximum distance. Each smaller beam deals 60% of the main beam's damage.
By default, the main beam splits off into 3 smaller beams at its maximum distance. For each active element the player has, the number of beams increases by 1, up to a maximum of 8. The beams that split off before the maximum distance are unaffected by the number of active elements the player has.
Damaging non-Target Dummy enemies will grant the player the 
Spirit Element for a length of time.
Its best modifier is Ethereal.
