The Spore Caller is a craftable Pre-Hardmode shamanic weapon. On use, it fires a set of 5 jungle spores that linger in the air after traveling a short distance. The spores will automatically home in on enemies that approach them, damaging them and occasionally inflicting the Poisoned debuff (1/10 chance). Only one set of spores can be active at a time; reusing the weapon will despawn any previous spores. As the jungle spores remain in midair, they will increase in damage over the course of 20 seconds, from a base of 5 to a base of 50. Additionally, after 10 seconds have passed, the spores will grant the player the Spore Empowerment buff, increasing the base damage of the Spore Caller by 10 for its next use.
Hitting enemies provides the Level II Attack Empowerment to the player.
