The Grand Fire Imp is a Hardmode enemy found in the Underworld. It remains stationary while summoning several burning spheres around itself over the course of a few seconds that inflict On Fire! before teleporting to a new spot.

Fire Imps are considered imperfect demons, too vile to be human or even Goblin but too weak to be Demon. Nonetheless, some Imps do rise to greater power than their fellow brethren through hard work and determination, and the upper echelons of the Underworld command have no choice but to recognize their prowess. Hence, Grand Fire Imps are equipped with iridescent armour that wards away fire and lava, as well as powerful magma cores that aid in magnifying their abilities and annoyance levels.
