The Palm Wood Atlatl is a craftable Pre-Hardmode atlatl. An alternative to the basic Wooden Atlatl with very slightly increased stats, it is a viable option for an early-game atlatl for beginner characters, and is also used to craft the Ratlatl.

Its best modifier is Legendary or Unreal. The main difference is that legendary increases the size of the atlatl, which has a linear effect on the projectile velocity, while unreal increases the velocity itself. Despite a slight difference between size and velocity, both modifiers should retain a similarly effective DPS.
