The Sunplate Hamaxe is a Pre-Hardmode hamaxe crafted from Sunplate Bars. It is the earliest available hamaxe in vanilla Terraria, with identical axe and hammer power to the Meteor Hamaxe and much safer to obtain early in the game. It has unusually high damage and knockback for its tier as well, making it potentially viable for use as a melee weapon.

Its best modifier is Light for harvesting purposes and Legendary for combat purposes.
