Ancient Wood armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Ancient Wood. It takes a total of either 75 (with the Ancient Wood Helmet) or 63 (with the Ancient Wood Garland) Ancient Wood to craft a single full suit, or 87 to craft one of each headgear.
It consists of an Ancient Wood Chestplate and Ancient Wood Greaves, as well as two different headgears: the Ancient Wood Helmet and Ancient Wood Garland.
The Ancient Wood Helmet gives 1 defense, 4% increased summon damage, and increases maximum number of minions by 1; the Ancient Wood Garland gives 1 defense, 4% increased druidic damage, and 2% increased druidic critical strike chance; the Ancient Wood Chestplate gives 3 defense, 6% increased summon damage, and increases maximum number of minions by 1; and the Ancient Wood Greaves gives 1 defense and 2% increased summon damage.
A full set provides a total of 5 defense, 8% increased summon damage, and increases maximum number of minions by 1, in addition to any stats given by the particular headgear. Regardless of which headgear worn, the set bonus provides immunity to the Poisoned debuff. While wearing the Ancient Wood Helmet its set bonus increases maximum number of minions by 1. While wearing the Ancient Wood Garland its set bonus grants 8% increased druidic damage and increases the use speed of Staves.
