The Seedbag is an early-game Seedbag. Using it throws a seed that sprouts into a Sunflower on contact with a tile, releasing large homing spores that continuously deal damage for 3 seconds before disappearing, but only travel 8 tiles from the plant. The seed also deals damage; however, the weapon is most effective if the seed is thrown beneath enemies rather than at them, as the sprouted plant will damage them faster and more consistently.
If the Sunflower is planted on a Dirt Block with a grassy surface, it radiates a short-ranged aura with a 3 tile radius that grants the player the Happy! buff if they are standing within it.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Like the Daybloom Seedbag, with the right timing, it is possible for the player to jump, hit the ceiling and throw a seed upward so the plant will go through the solid block and spawn on top of it, outside. When thrown against a wall, the seed will fall on the ground several tiles apart from the wall.
