The Unstable Portal is an uncommon Hardmode flying enemy that only spawns on the surface. It has high damage, but no defense. It flies towards the player, usually above them for a while, and slowly moves down to attack. When striking a player, the Unstable Portal will apply the Distorted debuff, making the player to float up and down randomly. It drops many things, supposedly from a different dimension. There's a chance that a portal can be "enraged". It can be orange instead of pink, and it will become seemingly more aggressive than the others. It's still unknown from what dimension it's from, but it's supposedly a dimension that has been infected, and the other portals turned into Strange Portals.
