“Do you dare enter?
— Strange Portal
The Deeper Dungeons are a series of newly generated Dungeon activated by entering a Strange Portal. Each new "floor" is their own map and is generated each time. The Deeper Dungeons does not work in multiplayer. While inside the Deeper Dungeons, the player is given the Creative Shock debuff, meaning no blocks can be created or destroyed. However, using Bomb, Dynamite, or Rockets can destroy blocks. This is useful as there are ice patches that are blocking areas of the Deeper Dungeon. Each "floor" contains a Stranger Portal, allowing the player to infinitely go deeper if they wish. To leave the Deeper Dungeons, simply open the settings menu in the inventory and click the Return button. This will send the player back to the spawn of the real world.
