Whips
Whips are a new type of weapon added by the Terraria Overhaul mod. They benefit from the Melee class buffs, and act similarly to Pre-1.4 Flails. Like all the other melee weapons in the overhaul mod, they have both a regular and heavy attack. The regular attack is a long-range, straight whip attack in the direction of your cursor. The charged attack gains longer range, more damage and can stun enemies and pull them towards the player. There are currently only five obtainable Whips, the Steel Whip, the Whip of Pain, The Meat Impaler, the Blue Nebula and the Hellspawn. All Whips are currently obtained in Pre-Hardmode.
Their best Modifier is Godly.

- All whips, with the exception of the Steel Whip, have a direct flail counterpart and are crafted/obtained in the same way as their counterpart.
- A whip's charged attack drags enemies closer.
Tips[ | ]
- All whips can be crafted from their counterpart flail and back indefintely, granting a new reforge each time. This means that, with enough patience, you can craft the weapon back and forth to get your desired reforge without paying.
