The Shadow String is a pre-Hardmode accessory which increases multiple melee abilities and yoyo range. It is the Corruption counterpart to the Crimson String. It cannot be equipped with other strings added by Veridian Mod.

The string color is purple.

Notes

• The boost given by the High Roller buff is +10% damage and +15% critical strike chance.
• The melee-boosting ability provided by the shadow string is thematic to its own armour bonus.
• While its crimson counterpart uses vertebrae in its recipe, the shadow string does not use rotten chunks but instead uses worm teeth.
