The Mirror Badge from WeaponOut is an accessory that provides an immunity to Stoned, as well as reflecting most hostile projectiles that hit the player in the opposite direction. Once a projectile has been reflected, there is a brief period in which a projectile cannot be reflected, leaving the player open, but the ability returns after approximately 2 seconds.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • This accessory has 2 crafting recipes which are wildly different from each other, as to allow the accessory to be made at different times. Via the first recipe, you may opt to fish for the supplies to make the accessory, while the other method requires waiting until Hardmode for a more combat-orientated route.
  • This accessory provides the Magic Barrier buff, which is what deflects incoming projectiles.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This accessory is a direct reference to the Franklin Badgefrom the Mother series of role-playing games. The recipe involving the fishes and the Rusted Badge is a callback to how you obtain it in Mother 3, where a Mr. Saturn borrows the Courage Badge that the player obtained earlier on in the game so he can polish it into the more powerful Franklin Badge.
    • Likewise, it also functions similarly to the Franklin Badge in its Earthbound and Mother 3 appearances, reflecting any projectiles that hit it.
      • Unlike the Franklin Badge, though, the Mirror Badge reflects all projectiles that hit it, while the Franklin Badge can only reflect electricity-based attacks (psychic-based, in Earthbound Beginnings)
